Getting rough now

I am sitting here at work starving!!  I ate the usual oatmeal for breakfast, but I must have gotten a bad bunch or something because it did absolutely nothing for me!!  Not good!  Can't wait for the day when I think of something other than food.  I am addicted.  I guess the first step is admitting that you have a problem.  Well, I do.  HELP!!!

Well, here we go again with all the temptation out there.  When did portions get so out of control?  And why do I want so badly to eat this way?  I know that I want to be healthy and thin, but it is hard to do with all the things out there.  I mean, even picking up something in the drive-thru is a mind-blowing experience.  I wish they would put the nutrition facts on everything to help people make better choices!  I am continuing to lose, although not as much as last week.  But, a loss is a loss toward my goal!!

More Lost!

I can't help but to be envious of all the people out there who are just "naturally" thin.  This is really hard work!  I am very proud of the progress that I am making, but boy do I want to just sit on the couch and eat Oreos sometimes!  Then I get to thinking about how I will look and feel by the time I meet my goals and I get more motivated than ever!  I am taking the stairs only at work and walking at least a mile a day.  May not sound like much, but trust me, it's an adjustment!  I find myself getting full much sooner than usual as well.  Guess that's a good thing.  Pray that I don't give in to the cravings and that I can keep this up!

WE'RE LOSING IT!!
Hey there guys!! Well, week one is complete and I have done a pretty good job. I have been counting my calories and exercising when possible. We have walking areas at work so that really helps. I lost my father-in law on Jan. 3, so I faltered for a day or two. But I know that I need to do this for myself and for my family. I have gotten really excited about getting healthy. There are a group of us at work who are really working together and motivating one another and that is what I really need to stay on track. Pray for me, and I will make you proud!!

Hi! I am happy to report that I have done very well with my diet plan. With work and my kids, it's hard to find the time to be "good" but I really am trying. It's a little easier at work than usual because of the weight loss challenge that so many are participating in. It really forces you to be accountable, and that can be a real eye opener. Keep thinking of us as we try to make our families proud!
