    WE'RE LOSING IT!!

Hey there guys!! Well, week one is complete and I have done a pretty good job.  I have been counting my calories and exercising when possible.  We have walking areas at work so that really helps.  I lost my father-in law on Jan. 3, so I faltered for a day or two.  But I know that I need to do this for myself and for my family.   I have gotten really excited about getting healthy.  There are a group of us at work who are really working together and motivating one another and that is what I really need to stay on track.  Pray for me, and I will make you proud!!

Hi!  I am happy to report that I have done very well with my diet plan.  With work and my kids, it's hard to find the time to be "good" but I really am trying.  It's a little easier at work than usual because of the weight loss challenge that so many are participating in.  It really forces you to be accountable, and that can be a real eye opener.  Keep thinking of us as we try to make our families proud!

    BIGGEST LOSER MILLION POUND MATCHUP

    MEET KATHY AND LAURA...

    2 BIG LOSERS

Hey!  We are friends and co-workers from Mississippi.  Officially, Kathy lives in Pearl (city chick) and Laura lives in Harrisville (country bumpkin).  We work as registered nurses and have joined a program launched through our workplace for overall health and fitness.  We love to eat, but have come to realize that the scales are not just cruel because they choose to be; we actually are responsible for the numbers that the scale readsLight bulb.  That said, we have joined forces to help one another to reach our weight loss goals.  We both are busy moms who work long 12 hour shifts.  It's difficult to find time to eat, much less eat right!  And the water weight adds a few pounds, too, I'm sure--going to the bathroom alone is quite often a luxury.
We have found a wonderful friend and comic relief in one another and believe that we can help to motivate one another along this journey.  Even small changes, such as walking the stairs and parking farther away than usual can make a big difference.  Also, the eating out will be limited and sensible, whereas before it was a lot and often.  Being accountable to someone else is the motivation we both need to achieve the ultimate success!
    Also, we should win because:
